Best Dog Beaches in Utah

Willow Creek Dog Park

4460 Split Rail Ln, Park City, UT 84098

A hidden gem of Park City, Willow Creek Dog Park has plenty of grass to roam around in along with a great beach for dogs to go off-leash. There are also some large rocks for dogs to play on, as well as many trees that provide lots of shade.

Willow Creek Dog Park is located in the south-east part of Park City off Little Kate Road and Split Rail Lane. It’s near The Canyons Golf Course.

McMahon Bay Beach

4892 W Fish Hook Rd, South Jordan, UT 84009

This is a popular place in South Jordan to bring dogs so they can splash in the water. Dogs are required to be on-leash at this beach, however it’s common to see people violating this rule. If the beach is crowded, be sure to have your dog remain leashed while on the sand.

Rendezvous Beach

Located on Bear Lake in Northeastern Utah, Rendezvous Beach is a great place to bring your dog for a day out in the sun.  The sand is powdery, the beach is rarely crowded, and the area is dog-friendly all season long!

This beach is a popular place for people to bring their dogs. While there isn’t a specific dog-area, many people let their dogs run off-leash on the sand and in the water here. It can get quite crowded in the summer, so use your best judgement when letting your dog off-leash.
